Under-river conduit in Lyon, France

Bonna TP constructed a siphon across the River Rhône in Lyon, consisting of a DN1000 RCCP (Reinforced Concrete with steel Cylinder Pipe).

This drinking-water conduit was pre-assembled in four sections. It was then submerged and assembled underwater by our diving teams. The pipe was drained in order to weld the sections together from the inside. A pressure of 11 bar was then applied for the project.
