As part of the project to repair and maintain the underwater structures of the City of Nice Côte d'Azur to make the water discharges safe near Carras beach in Nice, it was decided to replace its obsolete and polluting DN1500 cast-iron sea outfall.
The chosen solution consisted of supplying and laying a DN1500 BONNA RCCP (Reinforced Concrete Cylinder Pipe) with ER joints assembled using hydraulic jacks placed on anchoring boxes.
The interior and exterior pointing was done using protective joints.
