SPL Eau du Ponant entrusted BONNA TP with the renewal of the outfall for the discharge of treated water from the Maison Blanche WWTP in Brest, France.

The main phase of the project took place last October with the construction by pulling on the bottom of the outfall. This structure with an internal diameter of 700mm and a length of approximately 400m is made up of an assembly of pipes of a foundry character welded together in concrete with a sheet metal core which provide: Resistance, Ballast and Stability to the structure. The pipe is buried on the beach and the foreshore up to the point of lowest tide level, then it rests on the bottom up to its deepest end where the diffuser is located.

The BONNA TP teams have once again shown all their know-how in the construction of outfalls at sea, in particular by carrying out the operation to pull the entire outfall in just 4 days (days and nights).
